“Young web-programmers of Azerbaijan”

Student of Baku High Oil School (BHOS) Leyli Abbasova’s successfully implemented project was named exactly like this.

Leyli is studying Engineering for process automation. Her project received funding in the frame of 10th grant round of Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic and implemented technical support of BHOS. The project aims increasing knowledge of young students interested in the sphere of information communication technologies (ICT). The project also targeted to inform students about the recently updated and innovations of ICT, increase their knowledge and practical competencies in HTML, CSS and Java program languages. Participants of the project were the students of different universities of Azerbaijan who were interested in web programming. 5 seminars-training was organized in the frame of the project and in the final of the project a contest was organized and laureates were rewarded with certificates and memorial presents. Some those laureates were Farid Hamidov, a student of BHOS and Vafa Aliyeva and Javanshir Huseynli, students from other universities.

It is worth mentioning that 7 students of BHOS received funding for their projects from Youth Foundation in the frame of 10th grant round (Category “C” – supported projects and initiatives of young individuals).

Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic was established on December 19, 2011. The main objective of the Foundation supporting events related to science, education, culture and other social spheres of youth policy and financially support projects and activities implemented abroad to promote Azerbaijan.
