TRAINING ON INCLUSION FOR FUTURE JOURNALISTS

Azerbaijan Journalists` Network and Educational Center for Youth under the Azerbaijan Press Council are implementing project Journalistic school - "MediaMən" ("MeMedia").

During the implementation of the project, sessions on various themes have been covered. It targeted 20 youth, who are eager to learn in depth of professional journalism (including photo, video, web journalism). The sessions are taught by professional journalists, as well as representatives of professional media organizations.

Within this project, one of the sessions were devoted to preparation and lightening of mass media news on inclusive education. Specific questions were raised related to this subject and importance of bringing inclusion in general, as well as inclusive education in particular into the public attention. For the participants of the training various study trips to TV channels, radio, newspapers and news portals have been organized for understanding work of media. Thus, within this project, trips to CBC TV (Caspian International Broadcasting Company), ANS TV, radio “Azad Azərbaycan” (“Free Azerbaijan”) 106.3 FM, offices of “Şərq” (“East”), “Kaspiy”, “RovMedia”, “OD-Media Production” and Azerbaijan Photographers Association.

To underline one more time, one of implementing authors of the project is Educational Center for Youth - member of the Caucasus Network for Children.
