“The knowledge bus” drives across the country
Education on wheels? Why not!
Dozens of schoolchildren, students and teachers traveled around the country, gaining new knowledge. The “Knowledge Bus”, equipped with high-speed Internet, has been making a long way from the capital to various regions of the country for many years now. This year the route lies through such regions as Gusar, Astara, the village of Jojug Marjanli of the Jabrail region, Gazakh and Balakan. The project, established by the Ministry of Education and private companies, is aimed at the provision of equal opportunities for quality education.
And so, what does Summer School give?
First of all, for students of secondary, secondary vocational and higher education institutions in regions of the country who have an average academic index, this is a great incentive for future career growth. Classes and personal development courses which will help them in finding and choosing work in the future, as well as various intellectual competitions, are organized for them in all cities. Secondly, right in the middle of the tour, the teachers evaluate the real abilities of the pupils and digesting the materials on various topics by them. Through this program, students gain stimulus to change their outlook on life and the formation of a new worldview, and the knowledge gained on information technology to develop their careers. By the way, this is the fourth unusual bus tour across the country. In previous years, this educational marathon has covered more than 550 schoolchildren and students of 53 higher, secondary and secondary vocational schools from 29 cities of the country. Coaches and experts conducted more than 200 academic hours of educational programs and related training.
Previously, the summer school “Knowledge Bus” was held in such cities as Ganja, Sheki, Lankaran, Guba, Masally, Sabirabad, Shamkir, Gabala, Mingachevir, Zagatala, and Ismayilli. Then the schools with a low rate of education participated in the program. According to the planners, this project will contribute to the development of the education sector, and in the future, students will show more interest in classes.
