IMPLEMENTATION OF INCLUSIVE METHODS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

Conference on “Development and Strengthening of Vocational Education and Training in Azerbaijan” were organized with participation of Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan and The Foundation Rogaland Training and Education Center. 
 

At the conference the current situation and development perspectives vocational school in Azerbaijan and current situation of the Norwegian vocational school and development perspectives, as well as results on successful implementation of similar projects in Asia and Africa were discussed. 

Furthermore, during the discussions, one of the guests, representative of Azerbaijan Children Union (member of Caucasus Network for Children) Fuad Dargahli indicated the importance of implementation of inclusive educational methods in professional vocational school. He has also indicated aim and objective, as well as projects implemented by the international network - CNC. For implementation of this project it is recommended to provide special attention to inclusive educational system in vocational schools and possible use of experience from the members of mentioned network.

Within the framework of the project, curricula have been developed and trainings have been organized for professional development of engineering-pedagogical staff in line with the requirements of the labour market. At the same time, conditions were developed for building relationship between relevant vocational schools and potential employers.

At this event not only the Ministry of Education and representatives of piloted vocational schools, but at the same time experts various Ministries, government agencies and local civil society experts were taking part.

The main objectives of the project which is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway are to support for reforms in Azerbaijan on vocational school; find out effective ways in development of experts in the field of seafaring, agriculture and fishing. Also the purpose of the project is further development of normative-legal basis in the field of vocational schools of Azerbaijan.
