Caucuses Network for Children (CNC) again assembled
6th General Assembly and a board meeting of CNC Network took place in Vienna, Austria.
Caucuses Network for Children (CNC) convened its board meeting and 6th General Assembly in Vienna, Austria from November 12th to 15th. In attendance were 15 CNC member organizations from 4 countries of the Caucuses, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation (the Republic of Ingushetia, Republic of North-Ossetia, Republic of Chechnya).
The Assembly reviewed the year 2018 activities and heard reports from each country. Much of the work was implemented with an emphasis on advocacy of inclusive education.
During the meeting, the members, secretaries and communication officers also discussed new sources of funding, possible cooperation and fundraising between the members of CNC, and developed the strategic plan for the year 2018-2019.
One of the highlights of the meeting was a visit to IZ (Interkulturelles Zentrum) office where the members met with the representative of Austrian Nationaal Agency for Erasmus+ Youth in Action Stephanie Auzinger to learn funding opportunities with Erasmus.
The Assembly elected a new coordinator for the year. The coordinator is a rotating position between the countries and this year the coordinator elected was Matanat Guliyeva from Azerbaijan.
